What?
A SUP OR Stand-up paddleboard tour through Cork City centre with our experienced guides. We will first give a short safety briefing and paddling instructions and off we go to explore the Lee.
The experience takes about 2 hours of which 90 minutes is on the water. We’ll be paddle boarding approximately 3 km. We have carefully selected our boards to ensure you don’t fall into the river and stay dry! Suitable for even the most unbalanced person 🙂
Who?
Our team have over 20 years of experience delivering water-based activities. We own 2 other paddle board schools – Mayo & West Cork.
Safety standards are extremely important to us. We are an accredited SUP school with the Academy of Surfing International, and all our instructors are qualified beach lifeguards.
If you have never paddled before, you are in good hands and if you get tired we’ll be happy to stop for a rest at one of the many exit points of the river.
When?
We run our SUP tours as often as possible year-round, wind permitting and tide permitting. We schedule our trips according to the high tides as this also allows the river to move at a gentler pace.
This means we only have tours 6-8 nights per month. We announce our SUP tours on our instagram page and then on our booking page here on the website.
If you have a group give us a call and we can see if we can accommodate
Where?
From here we will learn to paddle & stand, then continue around the city, going under some of Corks most famous bridges and past well known landmarks. On the tour, we will point out some of Cork city’s historical buildings and key features!
